FlagSeek
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Overview
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FlagSeek, including our website, checkout flows, questionnaires, account features, reports, and related services. By using FlagSeek, you agree to these Terms.
What FlagSeek provides
FlagSeek provides relocation intelligence reports and related services designed to help customers explore, evaluate, compare, and plan international moves. Our reports may include personalized analysis, questionnaire-based guidance, country-fit discussion, relocation planning considerations, and practical issue-spotting.
FlagSeek reports are decision-support tools. They are not legal, tax, immigration, medical, financial, real estate, insurance, or other licensed professional advice.
No professional advice
You should verify important decisions with appropriate qualified professionals, official government sources, licensed advisors, and relevant local authorities. This is especially important for immigration eligibility, tax residency, healthcare access, medication legality or availability, banking, real estate, schooling, pets, employment, family status, and other matters that may depend on your personal circumstances or changing local rules.
Your information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information in questionnaires, checkout forms, account fields, and other submissions. FlagSeek reports are only as useful as the information available to generate them.
Purchases and payments
Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Prices, report availability, refund policies, fulfillment timing, and report features may change over time. Any refund or support request should be sent to FlagSeek using the contact information below.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access. Do not share access to your account or reports with anyone who should not receive your personal relocation information.
Optional partner contact sharing
A referral link, coupon code, promotion code, or other partner attribution does not by itself authorize FlagSeek to disclose your contact information to a partner. When FlagSeek offers a partner-contact option, the choice is optional and identifies the specific partner that would receive the information.
If you affirmatively opt in, you authorize FlagSeek to disclose to that identified partner only the limited information described in the consent: your name, email address, opt-in date, and referral source. This permission does not authorize FlagSeek to disclose your purchases, destinations, questionnaire answers, report contents, health or medication information, financial information, household details, LGBTQ+ information, or other FlagSeek profile information.
You may withdraw permission for FlagSeek to make future disclosures through your account or another method FlagSeek makes available. Withdrawal does not undo disclosures already made while your permission was active, and FlagSeek cannot retrieve information already downloaded, imported, or otherwise stored in a partner's systems. The partner remains responsible for its own privacy, suppression, deletion, direct-marketing, and unsubscribe obligations for information it has already received.
Partner Program
FlagSeek may offer a partner, affiliate, referral, or similar program for approved participants. The FlagSeek Partner Program may cover eligible digital products offered under the FlagSeek and StateMatcher brands. Participation is subject to these Terms, any partner application or onboarding terms, and any additional written program terms provided by FlagSeek.
The standard partner commission rate is 40% of eligible net revenue from qualifying digital products. FlagSeek may assign a different commission rate to an individual partner in writing or through that partner's account. An individually assigned rate controls over the standard rate for that partner.
Partner coupon codes may provide customers with the discount shown in the partner's account and may be used with eligible digital products from both FlagSeek and StateMatcher. A product is commissionable or discount-eligible only when FlagSeek expressly designates it as eligible. FlagSeek may add, remove, or modify product eligibility prospectively.
Eligible net revenue excludes print, binding, shipping, fulfillment, taxes, reprints, refunds, chargebacks, fraud, self-referrals, purchases that violate program terms, and other physical-delivery services or add-ons unless FlagSeek expressly states otherwise.
Either FlagSeek or a partner may terminate the partner relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without prior notice, unless a separate written agreement signed by FlagSeek expressly provides otherwise. Termination ends future commission eligibility from the effective time of termination.
Termination does not automatically cancel commissions that were already earned before the effective time of termination. Earned but unpaid commissions remain subject to normal review, payout, reversal, offset, refund, dispute, chargeback, fraud-prevention, tax, compliance, and program-administration rules.
Customer discount codes, coupon codes, referral links, or promotional codes associated with a partner may remain usable by customers after the partner relationship ends, at FlagSeek's discretion. Such continued customer discount use does not create future commission eligibility for the terminated partner unless FlagSeek reinstates the partner relationship.
FlagSeek may retain historical partner, referral, coupon, purchase, commission, payout, tax, support, and program-administration records as needed for accounting, compliance, fraud prevention, support, and business operations.
FlagSeek may make an Opted-In Contacts list available to an active partner when individual customers have separately authorized FlagSeek to share limited contact information with that specific partner. Referral attribution, use of a coupon or promotion code, or a customer purchase does not by itself create contact-sharing permission.
An Opted-In Contacts list may contain only the fields FlagSeek expressly makes available for that purpose, currently the customer's name, email address, opt-in date, and referral source. A partner must not treat access to that list as permission to obtain, infer, request from FlagSeek, or represent that the partner knows the customer's FlagSeek purchases, destination interests, questionnaire answers, report contents, health information, financial information, household details, LGBTQ+ information, or other private FlagSeek profile data.
Partners may use Opted-In Contacts only for communications reasonably consistent with the customer's permission and the partner's own services, resources, articles, videos, podcasts, events, updates, or related content. Partners must comply with applicable privacy and direct-marketing laws, provide and honor required unsubscribe or opt-out mechanisms, and maintain appropriate suppression or do-not-contact records.
Partners may not sell, rent, license, or transfer Opted-In Contacts to unrelated third parties. A partner may use a service provider, such as an email platform or CRM, to process contacts on the partner's behalf if the provider is subject to appropriate confidentiality, security, and data-protection obligations and does not use the contacts for its own unrelated purposes.
A customer who withdraws contact-sharing permission will be removed from future FlagSeek active-contact lists and exports. FlagSeek cannot delete copies already exported to a partner. A partner that previously received the information remains responsible for honoring applicable unsubscribe, suppression, deletion, privacy, and other legal obligations governing the partner's own records and communications.
Access to new Opted-In Contacts and contact exports is available only while the partner relationship is active. Termination or suspension of a partner account ends future FlagSeek disclosures through the partner dashboard unless and until FlagSeek restores that access.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse FlagSeek, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer restricted systems, submit unlawful or harmful content, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
Intellectual property
FlagSeek, including its reports, designs, text, report structure, software, branding, and related materials, is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use reports you purchase for your own personal relocation planning purposes.
No guarantee of outcomes
FlagSeek does not guarantee that any country, visa path, tax result, healthcare option, housing option, lifestyle outcome, or relocation plan will be available, suitable, affordable, or successful for you. Rules, prices, risks, and conditions can change.
Your decisions and assumption of risk
You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to act on any information in a FlagSeek report. International relocation can involve legal, immigration, tax, medical, financial, employment, housing, educational, family, safety, and other risks. You agree to independently investigate and verify material facts before making commitments or taking action.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlagSeek and its reports are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. FlagSeek disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlagSeek will not be liable under any theory of liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages; lost profits, income, opportunities, or data; relocation, travel, housing, property, professional, medical, tax, immigration, or business expenses; or decisions made in reliance on FlagSeek reports without independent verification.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlagSeek's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a report, purchase, or use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid FlagSeek for the specific report or service giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any judicial proceeding arising from these Terms or FlagSeek must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Maryland, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
Severability, survival, and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect and the unenforceable provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual-property, payment, warranty, limitation-of-liability, governing-law, and dispute provisions. These Terms, together with any incorporated policies and any additional written terms applicable to a specific service, form the entire agreement concerning your use of FlagSeek.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
